ecu calibration

ECU calibration, often referred to as ECU mapping or ECU remapping, is the modern practice of the input of data into the engine’s control unit essential to correct, efficient and safe operation of the engine.

Calibrating Subaru ECU’s since 2001 has given us real world, first hand experience of almost all of the ECU’s available to run the Subaru boxer engine. This experience achieved from mapping Subaru’s has exposed us to the nuances of each of these ECU’s, both good and bad, and their reliability allowing Mocom Racing to offer informed recommendations when it comes to choosing the right ECU for your application.

Mocom Racing are happy to calibrate the Apexi Power FC, Syvecs S6 pnp, Syvecs GP and ofcourse all OEM turbocharged Subaru ECU’s from 1999* to modern day.
*EcuLabs is required to calibrate the MY99 and MY00 Subaru Forester and Impreza ECU’s. EcuLabs is also offered as an option on the later ECU’s from 2001 as it can provide increased functionality, particularly with the later DBW Subaru models.
